Oracle DBA DevOps Engineer – Utrecht/Remote
Introductie
For one of our direct customers we are looking for a DevOps engineer Oracle DBA.
Imagine playing an essential role as DevOps Engineers of the Oracle Database Platform Team (ODP). The ODP team is responsible for management of the core Oracle Database Services, including LCM, integration, tooling, capacity & performance management, and 2nd day operations. Besides it is responsible for the Oracle tool Oracle Enterprise Manager. We do this in a fully automated way and you as a DevOps engineer are responsible for designing, building and testing this automation.

As part of a self-steering service delivery team you are responsible for the operation of our Oracle database infrastructure, which is mostly delivered on Oracle Exadata and a small number on commodity hardware.
Keeping our environments, standards and documents up to date is part of the job.
Products within this environment are Oracle databases (12c and 19c), Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Internet Directory (OID) and Oracle infrastructure hardware (Exadata & ZFS).

You will be involved in assisting development of new services & products and making them available to our customers.
The department consist of around 35-40 Oracle specialists who day-to-day are working together to deliver the best and most secure service to the customers. Our client demands high quality, continuity and stability for 7×24. As part of the role you sometimes will need to work outside office hours during standby shifts.
Functie-eisen
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide consumers with the database provisioning and tools to maintain and optimize their databases
· Maintain the Oracle database platform and Oracle Enterprise Manager
· Automate these tasks using tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
· Engineer solutions to comply with regulatory requirements and integrate them into the Rabobank Infrastructure.
· Engage in day-to-day activities like engineering CI/CD pipelines, coding automation scripts, and developing new or adapted solutions.
· Ensure high quality, continuity, and stability for our crucial banking applications.
· Collaborate closely with other DevOps teams and the Product Owner.
Who You Are:
· DevOps engineer with at least five years of experience with the Oracle database platform from an Infrastructure perspective, and security.
· Extensive knowledge of automating deployments, developing and test code.
· Enthusiastic about automation tools like: Azure Ansible, APIs, REST, etc. and attentive to even simple task automation.
· Willing to share knowledge and experience.
· Able to see the big picture while diving into details to solve complex integration issues.
· A team player who can cooperate with everyone.
· Open to feedback for continuous improvement.
· Proficient in English (B2 level).
· Proficient in Dutch (B1 level)
What You Bring:
· Extensive knowledge of Oracle RDBMS Technology.
· Extensive knowledge of ZFS and ZDLRA
· Knowledge of ExaCC and OCI
· Good knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager.
· Extensive experience with automation tools (Ansible, Azure DevOps).
· Preferable Oracle TDE knowledge
· Preferable experience with ArcSight, Splunk, Qualys, LDAP, Python and PyTest.
· Preferable knowledge of Networking
· Preferable knowledge of Storage configurations
