The Continuity & Security Resilience function acts as a strategic partner within the organization by providing in-depth insights and expertise in the areas of continuity and security. The team delivers proactive, well-founded, risk-based advice at both tactical and strategic levels. Through a holistic approach, data analysis is combined with subject matter expertise to identify continuity and security risks in a timely manner and to support informed decision-making. This enables the organization to take appropriate actions that concretely strengthen operational resilience.
In addition, the team is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving high-value continuity and security services, ensuring alignment with internal and external developments such as regulatory changes, technological advancements, and an evolving threat landscape.
Functie
The Role
As a Business Analyst, you drive the continuous improvement of continuity and security services. You steer towards desired outcomes by gathering and translating requirements, developing clear change narratives, and aligning with internal and external stakeholders and vendors. Collaboration and alignment with risk, security, and compliance functions across the organization are key aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate external developments (e.g. regulatory, technological, and risk trends) into actionable requirements
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and identify functional and non-functional needs
- Develop clear and compelling storylines to support required changes
- Provide business and solution architects with stakeholder demands and preferred solution directions
- Analyse the impact of technological and architectural choices and advise product owners in their decision-making
You will operate in a complex and dynamic environment where the services you help develop and maintain are critical to the organization’s continuity and security posture. You are able to make complex challenges and impacts understandable and contribute to strong narratives around service development and change.

Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk, security, and compliance-related roles
- Technical knowledge of IT automation, IT security, and compliance
- Understanding of IT governance processes and security, risk, and compliance management frameworks
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management within large or complex organizations
- Proven experience working in Agile environments
- Knowledge of and experience with frameworks such as NIST and ISO/IEC 27001
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, and/or CISM are considered a strong advantage
