Department IT Continuity & Security Services:
EET ITVM CSS holds an end‑to‑end view on IT continuity across Rabobank and plays a central role in safeguarding the availability, stability, security, and compliance of business‑critical services. The department is responsible for incident and crisis management and for communication with regulators, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Purpose of the Role
As a Business Analyst, you enable Rabobank to maintain reliable and continuously available services by creating clarity and consistency in end‑to‑end monitoring, reporting, and data usage. You translate technical monitoring data into business‑relevant insights with explicit focus on customer impact and service health, supporting sound decision‑making in both steady‑state operations and crisis situations.
Responsibilities
Customer Focus
- Embed the customer experience perspective in monitoring requirements, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Translate technical incidents and performance degradations into clear customer impact insights.
- Ensure dashboards and reports support swift, informed decisions that protect customer services.
Result Orientation
- Drive continuous improvement of end‑to‑end (E2E) monitoring by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and enhancement opportunities.
- Centralise and harmonise reporting (e.g. BSCM) by integrating multiple data sources into consistent information platforms.
- Define, maintain, and improve health indicators and KPIs aligned with business outcomes.
- Provide E2E visibility and analysis to support incident and problem management, including root‑cause perspectives.
Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between IT, Operations, Business, Architecture, and Product Owners.
- Capture and translate stakeholder needs into clear solution directions for business and solution architects.
- Build alignment and shared understanding around continuity, monitoring, and security initiatives.
Change & Innovation
- Continuously optimise monitoring solutions, dashboards, and visualisations for usability and actionability.
- Stay aligned with solution architecture to reflect ongoing developments in monitoring, automation, and observability.
- Assess the impact of technological and architectural decisions and proactively advise Product Owners.
- Create strong narratives around service changes, risks, and improvements.

- Analyse quality, performance, and availability across applications and IT chains.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of process models delivered by Business Architecture.
- Apply deep understanding of IT continuity, monitoring, automation, and service management frameworks.
- Operate effectively in a complex, high‑impact environment where service continuity is critical.
Integrity & Compliance
- Act with integrity in a regulator‑sensitive environment with high accountability.
- Support transparent and consistent communication toward internal stakeholders, auditors, and supervisors.
- Contribute to a demonstrably controlled, compliant, and resilient IT continuity posture.

Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business process analysis or a similar role.
- Proven track record in end‑to‑end chain monitoring development and management.
- Technical knowledge of IT continuity, monitoring, and automation.
- Understanding of banking IT governance, system management, and regulatory frameworks.
