A holistic view on IT Continuity is essential for all Rabobank (customer) services. Continuity & Crisis Management (C&CM) is the go-to department within the organization with a comprehensive view on the continuity of the day-to-day operations.
As a department, we contribute to a stable, secure, and compliant IT environment by:
- Providing first-line response to IT continuity and security threats and service deviations
- Communicating with regulators, customers, and employees
- Designing, maintaining, and globally executing IT continuity processes and services
- Managing an average of 120 Major Incidents, 10 CMTs, and over 300 incidents per year that did not become a Major Incidents (in bad years, these numbers double…)
Functie
The Role
As a Business Analyst, you drive the continuous improvement of E2E Monitoring by visualizing the IT landscape of business chains and its health from a customer experience perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement of End-to-End (E2E) Monitoring by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and enhancement opportunities across the IT landscape.Visualize business-critical IT landscapes and business chains, ensuring clear representation of system dependencies, data flows, and integrations.
- Analyze system performance and availability across end-to-end processes to proactively highlight risks to customer experience.
- Ensure customer experience perspective is embedded in monitoring requirements, dashboards, and reporting.Continuously optimize dashboards and visualizations to improve clarity, usability, and actionability for stakeholders.
- Translate technical monitoring data into business-relevant insights that reflect customer experience and service health.
- Define and maintain health indicators and KPIs aligned with business outcomes and customer impact.
- Provide business and solution architects with stakeholder demands and preferred solution directions
- Analyse the impact of technological and architectural choices and advise product owners in their decision-making
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure monitoring solutions support business priorities and decision-making.
- Support incident and problem management by providing visibility into root causes from an end-to-end business chain perspective.
You will operate in a complex and dynamic environment where the services you help develop and maintain are critical to the organization’s continuity posture. You are able to make complex challenges and impacts understandable and contribute to strong narratives around service development and change.

Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business process analysis
- Proven track record in chain monitoring development and management
- Technical knowledge of IT continuity, monitoring and automation
- Understanding of IT and Banking governance processes and system management frameworks
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management within large or complex organizations
- Proven experience working in Agile environments
